LPP is looking for an Account Manager to join its growing Healthcare Practice. With an opportunity to work with clients spanning the entire healthcare chain, ideally this candidate will be passionate about all things healthcare – from provider and payor trends and issues to the latest in pharma, medical devices and diagnostics. The Healthcare Account Manager will not only be responsible for launching cutting-edge products and services, but will also work with established companies to recreate brands and take them to the next level by developing messaging and storylines that deliver new opportunities for visibility. This means the ideal candidate should love thinking creatively, sharing new ideas and managing clients and teams in a fast-paced environment.
LPP’s healthcare clients sit at the forefront of key trends – from accountable care to mobile health to personalized medicine to provider-sponsored health plans. They also rely on our teams to develop content – whether its blog posts, bylined articles or press releases – so the ideal candidate should also have a passion for writing and the ability to create materials that map the client’s value to the latest healthcare industry issues.
LPP Account Managers play a crucial role in client service and in our positive and collaborative culture. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of account teams, including media relations, social media and thought leadership programs, and ensure that all activities are strategically aligned with our clients’ overall marketing objectives. They contribute to organic growth of accounts and pitch new business. And the same way they push themselves to think differently and grow, they develop our junior staff into seasoned pros.
If you have 5-10 years of PR experience, proven results in managing account teams, and a passion for generating results for healthcare companies, you may be a great candidate for this position. To be considered, please send your resume with a cover letter highlighting your accomplishments and why you want to work at LPP to: careers@lpp.com
