Brittany has more than six years of PR experience. Since joining LPP in 2010 she has managed programs for healthcare clients who specialize in provider-facing and accountable care solutions, including: software for high-acuity care areas of the hospital; consulting and technology services for provider sponsored plans; clinical communications platforms; at-home medical devices and population health management technologies; physician practice electronic medical records; and hospital-wide interoperability engines. Key clients during her tenure at LPP have included Optum (the services arm of UnitedHealth Group) and multiple divisions within Philips Healthcare.
In addition to driving media results at top tier trade, regional and business press outlets, Brittany leads her teams in the development and execution of comprehensive communications programs that align with her client businesses. She is responsible for strategic content creation to support those programs, often developing messaging materials, news releases, blog posts, bylined articles and social content to drive each initiative.
Brittany also has extensive experience driving thought leadership programs, often acting as the “managing editor” for client blog and social media campaigns to ensure consistency of client voice and messaging. She’s known for keeping a close eye on client, competitor and industry coverage to identify new trends, topics and approaches to fuel ongoing communications programs.
Brittany often leads media outreach campaigns and press tours around major launches and maintains relationships with the analyst community. She has created proactive pitches to secure coverage in a wide range of publications, including The New York Times, Dow Jones, Reuters, Forbes, TheStreet.com, InformationWeek Healthcare, Modern Healthcare, HealthLeaders, Becker’s Hospital Review, American Medical News and Physician’s Practice.
In 2011, Brittany won a Gold Bell Ringer Award in the category of Product/Service Launch: Health Care, for work done to launch the ClearPractice Nimble solution.
Prior to LPP, Brittany supported healthcare, technology and consumer finance clients at Racepoint Global, a global public relations firm in the Boston area.
Brittany holds a B.A. in marketing and liberal studies with a focus in computer information technology from Bentley University.
