Bill has more than 30 years of strategic technology, marketing and communications experience. Since joining the agency in 1990, he has been instrumental in building LPP into an organization with a reputation built on delivering outstanding results for clients. Bill’s client engagements have ranged from multi-billion dollar publicly held companies to venture-funded startups.
Bill has served as a vital resource for market defining companies including IBM, Intel, Lotus Development, JD Edwards, EMC and more. He has developed award-winning communications programs for companies across a myriad of markets and technologies, including the Internet, Web, email, mobile, cloud, security, big data and business applications.
Bill has been published in CMO Magazine, O’Dwyer’s PR Report, Mass High Tech, Ragan’s PR News, and Boston Innovation and has been a featured speaker at many conferences including the Public Relations Society of America’s International Conference and The Marketing Round Table. He is currently a featured presenter on digital communications at Babson College’s Entrepreneur Boot Camp, and his frequent observations on communications and new media can also be found on LPP’s blog, “Beyond the Hype.”
In 2011, Bill and his team received a Gold Bell Ringer Award from the Publicity Club of New England for best product/service launch in healthcare for Essence Healthcare’s ClearPractice Nimble, the first EMR designed to run natively on iPads and iPhones. In 2013 his team won Bell Ringers for Best Company Profile story for AspenTech (NASDAQ: AZPN) and for Creative Media Campaign for The Future of Cloud Computing Initiative.
Prior to joining LPP, Bill held senior marketing and communications positions at technology companies including Cullinet Software, McCormack & Dodge and Raytheon Corporation.
Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and communications at Boston College and has completed post-graduate work in information systems management at Northeastern University.
