Vice Presidents
Vice Presidents are responsible for managing five or more client
accounts providing complete public relations and strategic counsel; directing the
activities of account teams to ensure timely completion of projects and programs;
delivering strategic programming including media relations, investor relations,
product launches, analyst relations, and tactical communications expertise; identifying
and pursuing new business opportunities; working closely with other senior level
staff members to develop clients' public relations strategy and plans; profitably
managing team activities to meet plan and budget.
We look for client management, new business development, project management, media
relations, writing, social media expertise, analytical and PC skills. Previous management,
business development, and public relations experience in high-tech and specifically
within the semiconductor industry is required. Experience working with wireless,
systems management, and clean energy are strongly desired. A college degree is required,
preferably in a communications field.

Account Representatives & Senior Account Representatives
Account Representatives & Senior Account Representatives are
responsible for supporting the implementation of various public relations programs.
Typical activities vary depending on level. Representatives pitch both local and
national media by using various avenues, including social media. They are responsible
for communicating a client's public relations program to the editorial and analyst
community. They research and analyze coverage, making recommendations on how to
increase results by adapting PR programs. They also write press releases, articles
and other materials that are succinct and consistent with the overall strategic
communications plan for their clients. There is some supervising and training of
account team members in these two positions.
Requirements for both levels: College degree, preferably in a communications
field. We look for prior PR experience, including driving results for clients using
traditional and social media, strong writing, editing and presentation skills.
Specific Experience Requirements:
Account Representative: 1-3 years of post-grad public relations or applicable marketing
experience, preferably in high technology, life sciences or clean technology.
Senior Account Representative: 3-6 years of post-grad public relations experience,
preferably in high technology, life sciences or clean technology.
Account Managers
Account Managers - LP&P account managers typically serve as
the day-to-day contacts for clients. Managers operate on both a strategic and tactical
level to make sure our services are meeting client business objectives. They work
closely with the client contact and lead account teams on the development and execution
of the various PR programs. They contribute to account planning and positioning
and drive industry and competitive intelligence gathering. In addition, they manage
and participate in ongoing team activities including media and analyst relations,
press tours, product reviews, customer programs, social media outreach strategy
and written materials. Account managers are also responsible for managing budgets,
ensuring that LP&P’s services match the budget amounts authorized
by the client.
Specific Experience Requirements:
Manager: College degree, preferably in a communications field. 5-6 years of post-grad
experience working with high technology, life sciences, or clean technology clients,
within an agency. Project management, client management, hr management, traditional
and social media relations, strong written and verbal communication skills, and
strong analytical skills are required.
