Brandi is located in our Austin, TX office and has been with LPP since 2011. She has extensive experience running media, analyst and social programs for clients, including crafting messaging and positioning, developing brand awareness campaigns, and managing company launches and thought leadership initiatives.
Brandi’s detail-oriented approach and creative thinking is a great asset to her account teams, where she thrives on the ability to tell stories across a range of formats – from blogs, to bylines, to press releases and digital content. A self-proclaimed “enterprise geek,” she has experience representing brands across a number of industries, including Hitachi Data Systems, Wells Fargo Technology and Operations Group, Freescale Semiconductor, Kodak, and LEGO Education. She has been responsible for account team management, strategic planning, media relations, partner activities and content development for these companies.
Brandi’s experience has led her to cultivate strong relationships with press and influencers in the IT space, where she routinely secures placements for her clients across top publications including TechCrunch, IDG, WIRED, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, NPR, and Fast Company, to name a few.
Brandi is always looking for new ways to integrate traditional and nontraditional approaches to PR in order to achieve results in the areas of media relations, reputation building, and social media content strategy – and was most recently awarded a gold Bulldog Digital/SocialPR award for the Best Use of Digital in a B2B Technology Campaign category for her work with Freescale’s Smart Mobile Device Pundit campaign. She is also the recipient of two gold Bell Ringer awards from the Publicity Club of New England for outstanding work on a high-tech campaign product launch.
Brandi joined LPP from The OutCast Agency in New York, where she led innovative, strategic PR initiatives for tech stalwarts in the cloud, security, and consumer technology space. Prior to her work at OutCast, Brandi was a member of Weber Shandwick’s Global Strategic Media Group, where she regularly developed thought-leadership platforms for C-Suite executives for a client list that included top Fortune 500 companies.
Brandi holds a B.S. in public relations and a minor in business foundations from The University of Texas at Austin.
