Phoebe joined LPP in 2011, making the switch from book nerd to tech geek. Phoebe is passionate about helping clients tell their stories, no matter how geeky, nerdy or otherwise in the weeds, to the audiences that most need to hear them. Since joining LPP, she has managed media programs and product launches for her clients, including Freescale Semiconductor, Fidelis Cybersecurity, Stratus Technologies, Skyonic, LANDESK Software, Lumension Security, and Ingersoll-Rand.
Phoebe has earned her clients placements in publications ranging from Network World and eWeek to Fast Company and the New York Times. In her work for an endpoint security client, she more than doubled the average monthly media placements for the company’s Patch Tuesday program and regularly secured placements in Security Week, PC Magazine, CSO and IT Business Edge. She has finally (mostly) gotten over the paranoia that working with a security account has given her, discovered a passion for clean technology, and learned more about enterprise software and integrated circuits than she would have thought possible when she first started studying PR at the University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, she still enjoys indulging her inner book nerd by curling up with a good book and cheering for once-great sports teams.
Prior to joining LPP, Phoebe managed media relations programs for writers and authors. Phoebe holds a B.S. in public relations from the University of Texas at Austin.
