ECOLOGY-FRIENDLY SALES AND MANAGEMENT
In our designs, we often use themes originating from nature. We do care for those motifs to appear not only on our clothes, therefore, we take serious regard of environmental issues. At the manufacturing stage, we require our suppliers to observe basic environment protection rules, and we implement environment-friendly solutions in our head offices and stores.
THESE ARE OUR ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ACTIONS IN OUR OFFICES
RETAIL STORE
At present, LPP manages the network of almost 1.7 thousand stores opened in the best retail locations in Europe and in the Middle East. Opening stores in modern shopping galleries and at the best commercial streets, we are required to meet numerous environmental criteria. Moreover, having environmental issues in mind, in part of our stores, we use bags made of recycled paper.

- We successively implement up-to-date and power efficient LED lighting in the stores of Reserved, our flagship brand. There are already 8 stores designed following this new concept.

- A different approach to lighting design has resulted in reducing power consumption of lighting fixtures by as much as 18%.

- In Reserved stores, we have also implemented an automatic lighting management system which limits main lighting by 70% outside the store opening hours.

HEAD OFFICE
Environmental care is an intrinsic element of our work in the offices and the logistics centre. We make our employees sensitive to ecology issues, encouraging them to sort waste properly.
In our everyday work, we use environmentally friendly paper made of eucalyptus. Trees for paper production are planted solely to meet the needs of the paper mill, as part of farmer support programmes. Raw material is processed so as to minimize water and power consumption, with low noise emission.
In intra-company mail, we use reusable material envelopes. The main goal for using them is to limit the use of disposable packaging.
As a standard, on all company computers, there are settings guaranteeing double-sided printing in black and white. Of course, any employee may change that if needed. Used printer toners are recycled.
Among LPP staff members, we promote a healthy lifestyle and ecology-friendly attitudes – more and more often, instead of using business cars, we ride bikes which are currently available in three offices in Gdańsk.
