Pozytywni Centre – for young people and families from the Gdańsk County
One of the local mental health initiatives is to support the family as the basic social unit, which plays a key role in the social life of children and young people. Its condition has a direct impact on social integration and development.
The project "Centrum Pozytywni – support for children, young people and families from the Gdańsk County" responds to specific challenges by providing free:
- counselling for families,
- parental support (psychological or educational) for the child and family,
- therapeutic and developmental groups for young people aged 13–17,
- support groups for parents and carers of children and young people in mental health crisis,
- specialist support groups.
Our priority is to develop long-term solutions, not just provide short-term assistance.

Social campaign "Words have power"
On 28–29 March 2025, the 2nd National Scientific Conference was held at the Naval Academy in Gdynia, organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Naval Academy in Gdynia, the Pozytywni Foundation, the LPP Foundation and Czerwiński Travel.
During the event, we discussed the power of language and the impact of communication on young people, and sought answers to the question of whether digital media convey POWER or violence. We analysed how words change the brain and listened to inspiring lectures, including those by Dr Marcin Szulc from the University of Gdańsk and Sławomir Ronkowski, Vice-President of the LPP Foundation.

One of the main events of the campaign was the Pomeranian Youth Meeting with a powerful message: "Be inspired. Take action. Be SIGMA." For over 3,000 people who could not be there in person, the entire two-day event was broadcast online.
The campaign was complemented by a competition, the main aim of which was to spread awareness about the power of WORDS by jointly creating a script for a music video and preparing a music video for the song SŁOWO ma MOC! (WORDS have POWER!) with the participation of students, parents and teaching staff from schools across Poland.

About young people, for young people, with young people
The LPP Foundation became a Strategic Partner of the Pomeranian Mental Health Congress for Young People, by Young People, with Young People, which took place at the University of Business and Administration in Gdynia.
This is a unique event in Poland, where young people had the opportunity not only to participate, but also to actively speak up, sharing their experiences and reflections.

For two days, pupils, students, teachers, therapists and experts discussed key challenges related to the mental health of young people and solutions that work in this area.
On the first day, young people took part in panels on prevention, awareness and risks.
On the second day, professionals learned about new tools and working methods that will help them to support their charges more effectively in their daily challenges.
