Fashion for a Better Start
According to the LPP Foundation, fashion can have a second, deeper meaning – not only as an expression of style, but above all as a tool for real social change.
The "Fashion for a Better Start" programme, implemented since 2021, is an original initiative aimed at children from children's homes, which is gaining strength and reach every year.
As part of the programme, young people receive support in key areas: health, education and self-development.

How does the project work?
Thanks to the funds provided by the LPP Foundation, it was possible to finance orthodontic appliances, corrective glasses, speech therapy, vocational courses and sports activities, among other things.
However, this is only the beginning – the real value of the programme lies in building self-confidence and giving hope for an independent, dignified life.

Fashion for a Better Start 2.0
In 2021, the programme supported 240 young people. By 2025, this number had risen to 340.
The new version, "Fashion for a Better Start 2.0", introduced two new forms of support:
- ‘English for a Better Start’ – an English language course on an online platform for participants aged 14-25. Those who pass the B2 level exam will receive a unique reward: a trip to a language course abroad.
- ‘Scholarship for independence’ – funding for further education (vocational courses, post-secondary schools, studies) for pupils who have completed secondary school, are professionally active and strive for independence.

The programme is implemented in cooperation with social organisations such as the Gdańsk Foundation for Social Innovation, the Family Gdańsk Foundation, the Family Foundation "Ogniska Nadziei" (Hearths of Hope), and, since 2023, the Krakow-based "Nasz Dom (Our Home) Society.
It is thanks to these partnerships that aid reaches those who need it most.
