LPP Foundation for local communities
The LPP Foundation has been helping people in difficult life situations for years. To this end, it cooperates with organisations operating in its immediate vicinity.
We operate in this area primarily in Pomerania, where LPP's headquarters are located, but also in Małopolska, Kujawy and Podkarpacie.
Active participation in the life of local communities is an important part of our work to promote equal opportunities.

Why are we doing this?
One of the main factors motivating us to work for local communities is to build lasting change in the environment by levelling social opportunities.
The presence of our organisation in the everyday lives of our neighbours is a distinction and an honour for us.

Our programmes
As part of our commitment to the development of the local community, we have implemented programmes such as:
Organisation of creative workshops held during events in the Lower Town district: ‘Summer in Lower Town’, ‘Farewell to Summer in Lower Town’ and ‘Christmas Tree in Lower Town’.
Support for events taking place in the vicinity of LPP's warehouse facilities. The LPP Foundation has become a partner of events such as ‘Pruszcz Gdański Days’ and a family bike ride on Children's Day in Pruszcz Gdański.

Support for organisations operating in Gdańsk's Dolne Miasto district, where LPP's headquarters are located: the Mrowisko Environmental Prevention Society, Neighbourhood Energy Incubator, Alfa Liczmański Primary School No. 65, the ‘Storytellers of Gdańsk's Lower Town’ Association, the FOSA Foundation and the Lena Grochowska Foundation, Gdańsk branch.
The #WakacjezLPP initiative. Every year, we support groups of children from the Pomeranian Province who, thanks to the support of the LPP Foundation, have the opportunity to go on an unforgettable holiday. In 2025 alone, over 300 people from organisations such as the Gdańsk Foundation for Social Innovation, the ‘Ogniska Nadziei’ Family Foundation, the Gdańsk Family Foundation and the ‘Mrowisko’ Environmental Prevention Society received support.

Cooperation with the Anna Dymna Foundation in Krakow. As part of this unique cooperation, every year the LPP Foundation supports two unique events: the Enchanted Song Festival and the Albertiana Festival of Creativity for People with Intellectual Disabilities. Every year, LPP employees get involved in providing additional support to the Foundation in activities such as the ‘Good Antiquarian Bookshop’ and participation in Christmas fairs.
The ‘Sortownia’ project, implemented in cooperation with the Social Integration Centre in Gdynia. ‘Sortownia’ is an LPP Foundation project that combines social and professional activation with pro-environmental activities. The aim of the project is to create jobs for people at risk of social exclusion. Between 2018 and 2024, over 25 tonnes of clothing were sorted as part of the initiative, which was then donated to the beneficiaries of the St. Brother Albert Society.

Cooperation with the JA TEŻ Foundation
The JA TEŻ Development Support Foundation works to promote the development, education and social integration of children, young people and adults with developmental and functional disorders, particularly those with Down syndrome.
The foundation's activities are in line with our mission to support local communities, which is why we have decided to work together to promote the social inclusion of people in need.

Thanks to partnerships with local organisations specialising in solving specific social issues, we provide support to people in particular need of social inclusion.
The result of this cooperation is the project ‘Social inclusion under the patronage of the LPP Foundation’.
As part of this initiative, from July to November 2025, 20 people with Down syndrome, including young people and adults, will take part in various activities under the supervision of a social inclusion coach.

Effects that matter
Thanks to cooperation with local partners, we implement projects focused on measurable results that support the development of local communities.
We greatly value cooperation with organisations that have knowledge and expertise in implementing projects based on local partnerships.
Regardless of whether the projects focus on supporting children, people experiencing homelessness, or people with disabilities, we know that the first step towards large-scale action is local initiatives that arise from the need for joint action.
