LPP Foundation for social economy
Commitment to the development of social economy entities is part of the objectives of the LPP Foundation for people at risk of exclusion, including children from children's homes, people with disabilities, and the long-term unemployed.
Cooperation with such organizations brings only benefits to local communities and provides real support to those in need.
Counteracting exclusion includes, among other things, professional activation. That is why we support social economy entities and non-profit companies that pursue this mission.

Why do we do it?
By working with such entities, the LPP Foundation provides real support to local communities and promotes the use of their services among employees, customers, and contractors.
These small, local companies offer an opportunity for the social inclusion of people in difficult life situations, who without a helping hand, daily support, and faith in their abilities would find the road to independence very difficult.

How does the project work?
As part of its cooperation with the Social Innovation Foundation, since 2021, LPP offices in the Tri-City have been visited by the Piaggio Kawiarni Kuźnia café, which provides first jobs for young people from children's homes.
This gives LPP employees the opportunity to learn about the café's mission, purchase its products, and thus become personally involved in the development of this initiative.
In December 2024, the LPP Foundation organized the first Social Economy Week at LPP offices in the Tri-City and Krakow, combining Christmas preparations with activities supporting local social enterprises.

Invited social organizations:
- Lena Grochowska Foundation – To My Café,
- Your Role Foundation, Sensitive World Foundation – Caffe Aktywni,
- The Navel of the World Foundation,
- Anna Dymna's “Mimo Wszystko” Foundation
- Aniołki Pracy Foundation – Społeczna 21.
They promoted and sold their products. Thanks to these organizations, people with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, and those at risk of social exclusion, have the opportunity to return to the labor market, gain new qualifications, and develop professionally.
By purchasing products made by the foundation's beneficiaries, LPP employees supported their creativity and professional development in a supportive work environment.

Who is implementing the project?
As part of this cooperation, we are visited by representatives of social enterprises, who enthusiastically talk about their work and the products they offer.
The entire cooperation is coordinated by representatives of the LPP Foundation.

The value of social economy
Each instance of cooperation between the LPP Foundation and social economy entities results not only in hundreds of coffees, cakes, and other products sold, but also in the promotion of their activities among LPP employees, who, encouraged by the quality of the products and the noble goals of social enterprises, become ambassadors of the social economy among their loved ones.
