Respite care support
An important institution supported by the LPP Foundation is the Gdańsk Respite Care Centre. We provide assistance to this place together with the Hospice Foundation.
Thanks to our cooperation, the Gdańsk Respite Care Centre can successfully carry out its mission, which is particularly important in the lives of loved ones with disabilities.
Carergivers need to rest too. We know how important it is to have adequate support from facilities that can temporarily replace them.

How does the project work?
The LPP Foundation provides financial support for the Respite Care Centre in Gdańsk, enabling the Centre to provide day or round-the-clock care, rehabilitation and therapy for chronically ill and disabled people.
This gives their loved ones time for themselves: to rest, take care of their health or take care of necessary matters. In addition, carers can also count on various forms of support:
- psychological,
- legal,
- educational,
concerning the organisation and provision of care at home.

Effects that matter
The Respite Care Centre has a total of 24 single and double rooms. In addition to modern, round-the-clock accommodation for patients receiving respite care, the three buildings also offer day care.
The centre can accommodate 60 people, 40 in round-the-clock care and 20 in day care.
Every year, the Respite Care Centre provides care for several hundred people in day and round-the-clock care.

How can you help?
Every individual and company can support the activities of hospices through individual financial contributions, volunteering or promoting the idea of respite care.
This form of assistance will allow for the stable continuation of the facility's activities, which is why we encourage you to get involved in any way you can.
