Support for hospitals
As part of its activities to promote health care, the LPP Foundation also supports the operation of hospitals.
Thanks to the commitment of its partners, hospital staff and local communities, the Foundation responds to the real needs of the health care system.
We recognise the need to support hospitals. We respond to this need with a wide range of support measures that lead to long-term change.

Why do we do this?
In light of the challenges faced by healthcare facilities – such as equipment shortages, infrastructure limitations and staff overload – we see an urgent need for action.
The hospital support project responds to these needs by providing donations, equipment and organisational support. Our priority is to support long-term changes that will translate into better quality patient care.

How does the project work?
As part of its health protection activities, the LPP Foundation provides financial support to hospitals. We pay particular attention to facilities caring for the youngest patients. The assistance includes, among other things:
- purchase of specialised medical equipment,
- retrofitting children's wards,
- modernisation of hospital facilities,
- organising educational and social events for children.

Which hospitals has the LPP Foundation supported?
We are proud of every opportunity we have had to help each institution. To date, the Foundation has donated funds to the following hospitals:
- Polanki Children's Hospital – purchase of ventilators, beds, multimedia equipment and diagnostic tests; support for the construction of a playground and garden landscaping,
- COPERNICUS Hospital in Gdańsk – financial support for Children's Day celebrations for patients, furnishing a corner for parents,
- Specialist Hospital in Kościerzyna – purchase of bedside cabinets, modernisation of the Children's Ward and anniversary films,

- Prof. Tadeusz Bilikiewicz Provincial Psychiatric Hospital – purchase of psychological tests designed for the examination and diagnosis of children and adolescents,
- Dr Babiński Clinical Hospital in Krakow – equipping the facility with educational materials, games and therapeutic aids,
- University Children's Hospital in Krakow – support for patients of the Inter-Hospital Centre for the Treatment of Childhood Obesity, co-financing for the purchase of a metabolic calorimeter and resuscitators.
The foundation also supported healthcare facilities during the coronavirus pandemic by donating thousands of masks and protective clothing.
