Volunteering – the driving force behind the LPP Foundation
The LPP Foundation has been organising employee volunteering activities for many years.
LPP employees are involved in numerous charitable campaigns for hospital patients and children in need. They are also heavily involved in all campaigns promoting animal welfare.
Good deeds come back with double the force. Our employees know this, as they get involved in our numerous volunteer activities – for patients, children and animals.

Why are we do this?
The LPP Foundation believes in promoting volunteering and sharing one's free time with those most in need. Volunteering is a great tool for inter-team integration of employees.
It does not matter what employees do on a daily basis – whether they are designers, accountants or warehouse workers. When working on a charity project, they have the opportunity to do something special for others together.

How does employee volunteering work?
As part of its activities promoting employee volunteering, the LPP Foundation organises a number of initiatives that have a positive impact on local communities. These projects are both ongoing and one-off.
They are carried out in cooperation with partner organisations, as well as through our own original projects. We have organised many projects in recent years. Some of them are listed below.

Shop without a receipt
An initiative that created a special space imitating LPP brand salons. As part of this campaign, LPP volunteers took on the role of professional stylists, and the beneficiaries of the programme received bags full of new clothes of their choice.
The ‘shops’ were set up in cooperation with the Municipal Family Assistance Centre (twice), the Gdańsk Foundation for Social Innovation and the WAGA Association. Over 400 people received support as part of the four campaigns.

Action Styling
The main goal of the project is to create a space where equal social opportunities are combined with a fascination with fashion.
Thanks to the ‘Styling Campaign’, over 100 people have already taken part in professional preparation for a photo shoot with the support of make-up artists, stylists and photographers.
Each of these roles was played by reliable volunteers from the LPP Foundation, who were delighted to share their skills.

Renovations in children's homes
The LPP Foundation has been supporting foster care facilities in the Pomeranian Province and Krakow for years.
In addition to the flagship programme ‘Moda na Lepszy Start’ (Fashion for a Better Start) and support for holiday trips, the facilities also receive funds for arranging their homes.
When new furniture is purchased for the homes, volunteers from the LPP Foundation provide invaluable assistance, eagerly taking on the role of a renovation team and assembling the furniture.

Painting hospital spaces
In February 2025, a project to renovate the paediatric ward of the Specialist Hospital in Kościerzyna was completed.
Thanks to the involvement of volunteers and the creation of an original design, the hospital's paediatric ward took on new colours, enlivening the entire space.

Creative activities
LPP volunteers organise art workshops during many events supported by the LPP Foundation.
Thanks to the artistic passions of our employees, we have carried out workshops for children from flood-affected areas, as well as during the “Blue Trainers” concert at the FORUM shopping centre in Gdańsk.
We have also been involved in the Pruszcz Gdański Days and in neighbourhood festivals such as Summer and Christmas Tree in Dolne Miasto in Gdańsk.

Sewing
In cooperation with the 3maliny Foundation, we are running the “Raspberry Sewing” project, aimed at supporting women after mastectomy.
Willing volunteers sew heart-shaped pillows and bags for Redon bottles, which are then given to women recovering from breast removal surgery.

Fairy-tale visits at the University Children’s Hospital
Twice a year, employees from LPP’s Kraków branch have the opportunity to visit the young patients of the University Children’s Hospital.
For this occasion, each volunteer is given a costume of a chosen character from popular children’s fairy tales and distributes gifts across the wards.
See for yourself the results of these visits — every child’s smile is a unique treasure.

Volunteering at the “Promyk” Animal Shelter for Homeless Animals
Thanks to the support of LPP employees, activities have been carried out to assist the daily functioning of the shelter.
The initiative at “Promyk” takes place regularly, around three times a year.
As part of the most recent visits, a mural was created, which now decorates the shelter’s space.

Blood donations on Łąkowa Street
Thanks to our partnership with the Regional Blood Donation and Treatment Center in Gdańsk, since 2017, LPP employees have had the opportunity to participate in a quarterly blood drive on a special blood drive that visits the company's headquarters.
Over the past eight years, over 600 liters of blood have been collected to help those most in need.

Who implements employee volunteering?
The idea of employee volunteering is at the heart of the LPP Foundation's work. We believe that dedicating one's free time to helping others is the greatest value.
For years, LPP employees have consistently demonstrated that they live and breathe this ideal, for which we are all immensely grateful.
