The Youth Stop – summary of the LPP Foundation conference

The event was organised by the LPP Foundation as part of Gdańsk Mental Health Month. The meeting for young people took place on 10 October 2025 at the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stadium.

The initiative aimed to support the mental health of children and young people. Approximately 400 students and their guardians took part in meetings with specialists, workshops and lectures on mental health and building mental resilience.

During the conference, participants discussed topics related to emotions, relationships and self-esteem. The Foundation and its partners also organised workshops, including collage, graffiti, popping dance and beatboxing classes.

The meetings, lectures and workshops for young people were led by: the Hospice Foundation, the Pozytywni Foundation, the ‘Witaj w domu’ Association and the ‘Dbam o mój zasięg’ Foundation.

Teachers took part in a workshop prepared for them, led by Tamara Kasprzyk from the FamilyLab Foundation.

During the meeting, issues such as supporting children’s self-esteem and how to formulate messages that provide young people with information about themselves were discussed.

Conference participants also had the opportunity to visit the stands of Gdańsk organisations that deal with the broadly understood support and development of young people on a daily basis.

Among those present were: the FOSA Foundation with its ‘Blue Trainers’ project, the ITAKA Foundation with its Youth Helpline initiative, the ARBUZ Association, the Mrowisko Association, the 180 Stopni Association, the RC Foundation, the Hospice Foundation with Tumbo Pomaga, and the Granda 77 and Wataha clubs run by the Gdańsk Foundation for Social Innovation.

As part of the finale of The Youth Stop (Przystanek MŁODZIEŻ), the workshop participants presented the results of the classes they had taken part in.

It was a space for young people to show themselves: their passions, ideas for spending their free time and creativity. In this way, we were able to appreciate the commitment of the students to the all-day workshop and celebrate its results.
