Niebieskie Trampki in Elbląg – another youth club established with the support of the LPP Foundation

The fourth Blue Sneakers (Niebieskie Trampki) club has opened in Elbląg – a safe space for young people, combining specialist support with a place to develop passions and build relationships. The project is being implemented by the FOSA Foundation with co-financing from the City of Elbląg and the LPP Foundation.

A new space for young people in the Ogrody Shopping Centre

The new Blue Sneakers club began operating in December 2025 in the Ogrody Shopping Centre in Elbląg. It is a place created for young people aged 13–19 who need a safe, friendly and informal space to talk, relax and be together.

On the opening day, the club was visited by 57 young people, confirming the high demand for this type of initiative in the region.

The Blue Sneakers – support and development instead of judgement

The club offers a wide range of activities, from billiards and table football, through board games and PS5 consoles, to creative workshops and social projects. Young people can spend time here after school, meet their peers and develop their interests.

A team of specialists is on hand: educators, psychologists, animators and street workers. They provide support and conversation in an atmosphere of trust and acceptance.

The project is expanding beyond the Tri-City

The Blue Sneakers (Niebieskie Trampki) is an initiative of Aleksandra FOSA’s Social Support Foundation, responding to the growing challenges related to young people’s mental health and limited access to specialist help.

The first three clubs were established in Gdańsk – in CH Forum, Galeria Metropolia and Galeria Przymorze. Two of them were fully financed by the LPP Foundation. Elbląg is the first location of the project outside the Tri-City.

During the opening, a letter of intent was signed confirming long-term cooperation between the FOSA Foundation, the LPP Foundation, the City of Elbląg and the Ogrody Shopping Centre.

Systemic support, not just a club

The creators emphasise that the Blue Sneakers (Niebieskie Trampki) is more than just a youth club. The project also includes workshops in schools, psychoeducational activities for parents, social campaigns and interventions in crisis situations.

Experience to date shows that clubs play an important role in local communities – they are a place of first contact and rapid response, without barriers to entry or formal procedures.

LPP Foundation – long-term commitment

Co-financing the Blue Sneakers clubs is part of the LPP Foundation’s broader activities for the mental health of children and young people. The organisation supports, among other things, the nationwide Youth Helpline and educational and social projects.

In 2025 alone, the four active clubs recorded almost 15,000 visits, including around 2,500 first-time visits. The project partners announce further development of the network and expansion to new cities.
