Digital Balance – a joint project by the Dbam o Mój Zasięg Foundation and the LPP Foundation to promote digital education

The LPP Foundation is expanding its activities in the areas of mental health, education, and support for children and young people, in response to the growing challenges posed by the presence of technology in young people’s lives. As part of these efforts, the Foundation has partnered with the Dbam o Mój Zasięg Foundation — an organization that has specialized for years in digital education, digital hygiene, and online safety.

Digital education for young people and their guardians

One of the first joint initiatives is the “Digital Balance” program, which aims to strengthen the digital skills of children, youth, and adults, as well as to foster a conscious and responsible approach to technology in school and family environments. The project includes activities aimed at students, parents, teachers, and representatives of local communities — particularly in smaller towns in the Pomeranian Province, where access to specialized digital education is often limited.

100 workshops by the Dbam o Mój Zasięg Foundation for children and teenagers

The program includes 100 prevention workshops led by experienced trainers from the Dbam o Mój Zasięg Foundation. The sessions are tailored to the participants’ ages and the daily challenges they face when using technology. Workshop topics will include:

  • digital hygiene and mindful device use,
  • online safety,
  • online and offline relationships,
  • preventing cyberbullying,
  • responsible use of digital media.

Educational meetings for adults – a common language on parenting and technology

Open educational meetings for adults — parents, teachers, and members of local communities — will also be an integral part of the program. As part of the project, five such events are planned for the fall of 2026, dedicated to topics such as:

  • the role of adults in the digital world,
  • supporting children in building relationships,
  • responding to difficult situations online,
  • creating a safe digital environment at home and at school.

Supporting local communities and mental health prevention

The implementation of the “Digital Balance” program is a key component of the LPP Foundation’s efforts to promote the mental health and well-being of young people. The project supports local communities, strengthens the digital skills of children and youth, and helps build a mindful, responsible, and safe environment for children and youth — both at school and at home.
