LPP Group launches the Sinsay marketplace

Sinsay, a brand owned by the LPP Group, is launching a marketplace and, for the first time, opening its sales platform to external retail partners. The new model is set to be another driver of the brand’s growth, enabling it to expand its product range with complementary categories and develop Sinsay as a one-stop shopping destination for the whole family. The marketplace will be based on a selective choice of partners and quality control of the products on offer. At the same time, the platform is set to grow rapidly – the number of products available is expected to exceed 100,000 as early as 2027.
Recent years at Sinsay have been characterised by rapid expansion of the business and the building of a strong position in the family segment. The next step is to further expand the range with categories that complement the fashion segment and to develop a comprehensive shopping platform. The marketplace fits into this strategy and enables the company to meet customers’ increasingly diverse everyday needs without altering the brand’s character. This one-stop-shop platform, combining the company’s own range with a carefully selected assortment from external partners, is designed to allow customers to fulfil various shopping needs in one place and as part of a single, seamless experience. At the same time, it is intended to strengthen the LPP Group’s competitive position in e-commerce and diversify its revenue streams, whilst scaling the business without a proportional increase in inventory exposure.
– Launching the marketplace is a natural step in Sinsay’s development. We want to scale the brand based on what we have already built. For retail partners, this means access to a strong brand, a growing customer base and the LPP Group’s infrastructure in the areas of technology, logistics and omnichannel, which provides them with a ready-made environment for growing sales. For us, it is a way to broaden our offering and achieve growth without relying solely on our own product range and network of stores. This provides us with a new source of revenue for Sinsay and for the entire LPP Group. At the same time, we are entering the market with a solution that has a clear advantage over typical digital e-commerce platforms – we are combining the marketplace model with an extensive network of high-street stores, which will provide customers with a convenient place to collect their orders and engage more frequently with the brand – comments Mikołaj Wezdecki, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of LPP.
Tried-and-tested partners, a complementary range
The Sinsay marketplace will be developed as a closed platform, with carefully selected partners and product ranges. Each seller and their product range will undergo prior verification, and only those meeting Sinsay’s standards will be admitted to the platform – including major brands and manufacturers, as well as specialist distributors and online stores. Initially, the focus will be on developing categories that naturally complement the brand’s range, such as cosmetics, toys, footwear, homeware and accessories. Decisions on collaboration will be based, amongst other things, on product quality and safety, stock stability, timely deliveries and readiness for technological integration.
– The strength of our platform lies in our strong, recognisable brand and the LPP Group’s experience in developing large-scale e-commerce. This obliges us to maintain the standard that customers expect from Sinsay – including in our partners’ product ranges. That is why we are focusing primarily on categories that are closely aligned with the brand and consistent with its profile. The companies we invite to collaborate with us are the ones with expertise or potential for growth in these areas, whilst also offering products that genuinely complement our range. This allows us to expand our offering without losing control over its quality or the customer shopping experience – says Dawid Choczyński, Sinsay Marketplace Director.
A ready-made environment for scaling the business
Sinsay marketplace partners will gain access to a sales dashboard, enabling them to manage their product range, prices, availability and orders. During the implementation and integration phase, they will be supported by the Sinsay marketplace team, whilst Silky Coders (a software house belonging to the LPP Group) will also assist with the technical processes. The collaboration will also include ongoing operational support, assistance in preparing and developing their product range, and the opportunity to reach customers through the Sinsay ecosystem, which encompasses e-commerce, a mobile app, a loyalty programme and initiatives to boost product visibility. The aim of the model is not only to provide partners with an additional sales channel, but also to create the right conditions for them to grow their businesses. The collaboration will be undertaken not only with large retailers but also with smaller, specialised companies, for whom a presence on the platform could become an effective growth accelerator. They will gain access to Sinsay’s large and active customer base, under a strong, recognisable consumer brand that ensures appropriate product exposure and performance marketing.
– From the outset, we were keen for the marketplace to be an integral part of Sinsay. For the customer, this means a single, consistent shopping experience, regardless of whether they choose a Sinsay product or a partner’s offering. Behind this approach lie the capabilities that the LPP Group has been developing for years: technology, logistics and expertise in omnichannel sales. Thanks to this, we can not only scale the marketplace efficiently and integrate further partners, but also develop additional services in the future that harness the potential of the brand’s entire ecosystem – says Michał Laskowski, Omnichannel Director at Sinsay.
The development of the marketplace responds to the needs of customers who increasingly want to make a variety of purchases in one place. Sinsay’s range and its partners’ products will operate within a single environment – an example of this is the Sinsay Club, which customers can access regardless of whether they choose a Sinsay product or a partner’s offer. The wider range is intended to encourage more frequent visits and cement Sinsay’s position as a shopping destination for the whole family.
Plans for the platform development envisage exceeding the 100,000-product mark in 2027. The range will grow as more partners join and as existing and new categories that complement Sinsay’s range are developed. The brand will do this selectively, with an emphasis on quality and the suitability of the offering. Logistics will also play a key role in further development – from the start of 2027, some orders placed on the platform will also be fulfilled from LPP’s warehouses by LPP Logistics. Furthermore, the marketplace is set to enter its first foreign market in 2027.
