Sinsay app with two Mobile Trends Awards

Sinsay app with two Mobile Trends Awards

For the twelfth time, the winners of the Mobile Trends Awards for the best mobile designs and applications in 2022 have been selected. LPP received two statuettes for the Sinsay brand mobile app, which was recognised as the best design of the year and winner in the m-commerce category.

The Mobile Trends Awards have been granted since 2012 as part of the Mobile Trends conference. Organised by Escola SA, the event seeks to support the IT sector in the mobile segment. This year, 75 designs out of over 140 entries from Poland and Polish branches of foreign companies, including two mobile applications from LPP brands, competed for awards in 16 categories. Reserved received a nomination for the m-commerce – development award, while Sinsay won a special award for the best design of the year and a statuette in the m-commerce category.

Presenting the MTA awards for the Sinsay app, the judging panel emphasised its comprehensive qualities and the fine-tuning of details that take the user experience to the highest level. The results so far reflect the justification read out at the awards ceremony.

Our customers in Poland already make almost 50% of Sinsay’s e-commerce orders using the app and in other markets 30%, so we are still working on the app’s development and expansion. The excellent results and customers’ recognition make it the brand’s most important sales platform – says Michał Laskowski, Sinsay’s e-commerce director.

Created for LPP less than a year ago by Silky Coders and Future Mind, the app has already recorded over 4.5 million downloads and ranks top in the “shopping” and “free apps’ categories in the AppStore and Google Play stores.

We are delighted that the jury appreciated the technological and visual side of our design to such a high degree. This is a great reward for the hundreds of hours of work that went into creating the Sinsay app – emphasises Przemysław Wiśniewski, senior product owner at Silky Coders.

Two statuettes for the app of the youngest brand in the LPP portfolio and a nomination for Reserved confirm the development of the Gdańsk-based company in tune with the m-commerce trend. Today, as much as 71% of online purchases at LPP brand stores are made via mobile devices. In response to the growing interest in easy and fast access to the Reserved and Sinsay sales offer, the company plans to roll out both mobile apps in further European markets.
