Healthcare
The LPP Foundation has been running health protection projects for many years. The aim of our activities in this area is to improve healthcare conditions, especially for children and young people.
We therefore run or support hospice projects and initiatives in cooperation with hospitals, such as ward modernisation, equipment purchases, infrastructure development and many others.
Healthcare is a very important area of our business. Even the smallest needs of healthcare providers are of utmost importance to us.
Respite care support
One of the flagship activities of the LPP Foundation in the area of healthcare is its support for the Hospice Foundation, the initiator of the Gdańsk Respite Care Centre.
The facility is located at 17C Kopernika Street in Gdańsk. It provides day and round-the-clock care for chronically ill or disabled people, thus relieving their carers. This gives carers time to regenerate and take care of their own well-being.

We provide assistance to this place together with the Hospice Foundation. Thanks to our cooperation, the Gdańsk Respite Care Centre can successfully carry out its mission.
The LPP Foundation provides financial support for the Respite Care Centre in Gdańsk, enabling it to provide day or round-the-clock care, rehabilitation and therapy for chronically ill and disabled people.
This gives their loved ones time for themselves: to rest, take care of their health or take care of necessary matters. In addition, carers can also count on various forms of support: psychological, legal and educational.
Support for hospitals
Thanks to the commitment of partners, hospital teams and local communities, the LPP Foundation responds to the real needs of the healthcare system – from additional equipment to the modernisation of wards.
This is possible thanks to the commitment of partners, hospital teams and local communities.

In light of the challenges faced by healthcare facilities – such as equipment shortages, infrastructure limitations and staff overload – we see an urgent need for action.
The hospital support project responds to these needs by providing donations, equipment and organisational support. Our priority is to support long-term changes that will translate into better quality patient care.
As part of its healthcare activities, the LPP Foundation provides financial support to hospitals. We pay particular attention to facilities caring for the youngest patients.
The assistance includes, among other things, the purchase of specialist medical equipment, additional equipment for children's wards, modernisation of hospital spaces, and the organisation of educational and integration events for children.
Support for hospices
The LPP Foundation has been cooperating with hospices since its inception.
We support the activities of local facilities in various ways, even as prosaic as donating funds for the purchase of care products.
However, we do not forget about larger-scale needs, which is why hospices can also count on our support in matters such as the purchase of equipment and business development.

Hospice care is a special form of healthcare, which is a pillar of the LPP Foundation's activities. Thanks to hospice medical, nursing and psychological care, patients receive support in alleviating the symptoms of their illness, as well as kindness and empathy.
The daily operation of hospices is a huge organisational and financial challenge, which is why the LPP Foundation supports these entities through long-term cooperation, guaranteeing their stable development.
The LPP Foundation also supports hospices in the form of employee volunteering, through which we inspire LPP employees to work together for the benefit of others.
Cooperation with healthcare institutions
Since its inception, the LPP Foundation has been involved in all projects supporting the activities of various healthcare institutions.
We provide support to local government units and those representing non-governmental organisations. The spectrum of projects is wide, and we strive to share our goodness wherever possible.
Supporting organisations working to protect health is one of the main priorities of the LPP Foundation.
In 2024 alone, over PLN 1,400,000 was allocated to this area.

How do we do it?
The LPP Foundation supports local government healthcare institutions, such as specialist hospitals. We also cooperate with institutions operating within non-governmental organisations.
Our activities involve regular support for healthcare institutions, but we also carry out special campaigns. The LPP Foundation has always shown great commitment in this area.
