Equality of social opportunity
The LPP Foundation also focuses on social needs. We recognise the problems faced by local communities and seek solutions that will address them.
Our projects in this area primarily concern equal opportunities – eliminating social inequalities that may hinder the development of young people due to their difficult financial or life situation.
We strive to reduce these disparities.
The LPP Foundation has been helping people in difficult life situations for many years.
Equalising social opportunities is one of the objectives of our activities.
LPP Foundation Scholarship – ‘Design the Future’
In order to promote social equality, the LPP Foundation has established a scholarship programme called ‘Design the Future’.
The scholarship enables talented young people to study at the best secondary school in Gdańsk.
Thanks to cooperation with Gdańsk Autonomous Secondary School, seven secondary school students already have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of benefits offered by the LPP Foundation.

Design the Future is an original scholarship programme run by the LPP Foundation, dedicated to people who are finishing primary school and looking for new opportunities for development.
The scholarship covers the costs of studying at Gdańsk Autonomous High School (GLA) – the best private secondary school in the Pomeranian Province.
It is an opportunity to gain an education at a prestigious institution and to develop one's passions and interests.
The LPP Foundation for Local Communities
As part of its efforts to promote equal opportunities, the LPP Foundation is involved in the life of local communities.
We recognise their problems and work together to find solutions, but we also activate and support them in many ways.
To this end, we implement numerous support programmes aimed at preventing social exclusion, activating the local community, integrating and building bonds.

The LPP Foundation has been helping people in difficult life situations for years.
To this end, it cooperates with organisations operating in its immediate vicinity, primarily in Pomerania, where LPP's headquarters are located, but also in Małopolska, Kujawy and Podkarpacie.

Fashion For A Better Start
This project is aimed at children in care homes. It operates in the areas of health, education and self-development.
Thanks to this initiative, young people can take better care of their health and academic progress, as well as obtain funding for various courses, training or further school or post-secondary education.
Our programme gives young people something else – it builds independence and gives them the chance for a better, dignified life.

In 2021, the programme provided support to 240 young people. By 2025, this number had risen to 340. The new version, ‘Fashion for a Better Start 2.0’, introduced two new forms of support: ‘English for a Better Start’ and ‘Independence Scholarship’.
Activities within LPP warehouse facilities
The LPP Foundation is also involved in the lives of local communities living in the vicinity of LPP's warehouse facilities.
This allows us to implement many initiatives with the participation of local authorities and non-governmental organisations, and our support addresses the real problems of local communities.
We operate in all municipalities where LPP's warehouse facilities are located.

All initiatives are first consulted with local experts who are most familiar with the needs of their communities.
By implementing projects together with local partners, we provide real support and assistance in addressing the challenges faced by communities in a given region.
Currently, support programmes for logistics centres are being implemented in all municipalities where LPP distribution centres have been established – Białe Błota, Trzebownisko, Brześć Kujawski and Pruszcz Gdański.
We are creating a bright future today
Equal opportunities involve multifaceted activities – from minor support to creating better conditions for development.
Our activities are aimed at young people, but we do not forget about the local communities to which they belong.
The LPP Foundation's projects in this area bring about noticeable changes, which we summarise with specific figures.

Support implementation in figures
The effects of our activities are also reflected in the numbers – the amounts allocated for support, the number of projects, and the number of people involved in our activities or receiving assistance.
The development of the ‘Fashion for a Better Start’ support programme has resulted in an increase in the number of beneficiaries by 100 people – from 240 to 340.
Scholarship holders of the ‘Design the Future’ programme have the opportunity to apply for an additional PLN 2,500 per year to develop their passions and interests.

Summary of local initiatives
Activities for local communities can also be quantified using specific data.
We have implemented a total of eight programmes with local authorities in the municipalities where our warehouse facilities are located. Thanks to our cooperation, infrastructure upgrades, educational programmes and cultural projects have been carried out.
Thanks to the support provided to residents living in the vicinity of LPP's warehouse facilities, over 400 children participated in additional educational activities financed by the LPP Foundation. In turn, 40 people took part in a summer language camp financed by the foundation.
