Mental health
The LPP Foundation has been involved in social activities for many years, with a particular focus on the mental health of children and young people.
Through cooperation with medical facilities, schools and expert institutions, we support the development of systemic solutions that have a real impact on improving the well-being of the youngest members of society.
Growing up is not an easy stage in a person's life. We help young people overcome mental health crises.
We also support preventive initiatives.
Blue Sneakers
The Blue Sneakers Clubs are safe spaces where young people aged 14–18 can spend their free time. Young people can take part in workshops, tournaments and educational meetings.
Niebieskie Trampki offers the opportunity to talk to a specialist who will support them in solving problems or help them overcome a crisis.

The clubs organise themed workshops, tournaments and educational meetings devoted to health. They also offer the opportunity to talk to psychologists, educators and street workers in a friendly environment. Above all, however, they are a place to relax, talk and have fun. They are a good place to make valuable friends.
Youth Helpline
The Youth Helpline was launched in 2021 by the ITAKA Foundation and the Reserved brand. Two years later, the LPP Foundation joined the initiative, thanks to which the helpline expanded its capabilities.
On the other end of the line, young people can talk to psychologists, of course, but they can also talk to specialists in other fields.

The LPP Foundation's main goal is to support the mental health of young people. The problem of depression among young people continues to grow, which is why it is undertaking a number of initiatives to counteract this.
One of these is the comprehensive financing of the Youth Helpline, which offers young people psychological assistance seven days a week.
The Youth Helpline offers assistance in the form of telephone conversations with specialists and online sessions.
The second form of contact is designed for people who feel more comfortable talking via video chat.
The poMOCY Academy
The poMOCY Academy (The Help Academy) operates as part of the cooperation between the LPP Foundation and the Prof. Tadeusz Bilikiewicz Provincial Psychiatric Hospital in Gdańsk.
During the Academy's meetings, teaching and psychological staff, as well as other people working with young people, learn how to organise help for young people in crisis.

Mental health crises among children and young people are a challenge we face more and more often. Not only is appropriate support crucial, but so is education – so that knowledge reaches where it is most needed: schools, counselling centres, care facilities and homes.
The poMOCY Academy offers workshops that deepen adults' knowledge of young people's mental health. They also equip them with specific tools to work with and pass on this knowledge. The more awareness there is in a young person's environment, the greater the chance of a quicker response and effective support.
Our priority is to build long-term solutions.
Welcome home
The ‘Welcome Home - Welcome to Work’ project is an initiative of the Welcome Home Association, which was created out of a need to support young people in building their agency and self-esteem.
The LPP Foundation supports the ‘Welcome Home’ project by financing, among other things, stops for young people. These stops are events during which young people participate in dedicated workshops and discussions about emotions and what is most important to them in life.

To date, the LPP Foundation has supported the organisation of four ‘Welcome Home’ events – stops for young people: twice in Gdańsk, and in Brześć Kujawski and Pruszcz Gdański.
During these events, participants were recruited for workshop groups, which presented the results of their work at the Shakespeare Theatre in Gdańsk as part of the ‘Welcome Home – Welcome to Work’ project.
Mental health crises among children and young people are a challenge we are facing more and more often. That is why at the LPP Foundation, we are committed to supporting events for young people, where they have the opportunity to discover their talents and passions in an open and friendly environment.
Cooperation with the Pozytywni Foundation
The LPP Foundation and the Pozytywni Foundation have formed a partnership to promote the mental health of children and young people living in the Gdańsk district.
The Pozytywni Foundation is a group of specialists in the fields of psychology and education. Thanks to the support of the LPP Foundation, they are able to carry out a whole range of activities for the benefit of the district's young residents.

The LPP Foundation implements projects promoting mental health among the local community of Pruszcz Gdański and the surrounding area, as well as organising conferences and congresses in the Tri-City region and nationwide campaigns.
One of the local mental health initiatives is to support the family as the basic social unit, which plays a key role in the social life of children and young people. Its condition has a direct impact on social integration and development.
Our priority is to build long-term solutions, rather than providing temporary assistance.
Gdańsk Mental Health Month
Gdańsk Mental Health Month is an initiative of the City of Gdańsk and the LPP Foundation. Its aim is to raise awareness among the residents of Gdańsk about the importance of mental health and to promote activities that support mental well-being.
The event begins on 10 September 2025, during World Suicide Prevention Day, and ends on 10 October 2025, during World Mental Health Day.

Mental health prevention is one of the greatest challenges we face in today's world. For several years now, the LPP Foundation has been focusing its activities in this area. Cooperation with local authorities, institutions and non-governmental organisations allows us to respond effectively to the problems and needs of children and young people.
During Gdańsk Mental Health Month, educational campaigns, workshops, webinars and events are organised to encourage open discussion about emotions, stress, depression and the challenges of parenthood. It is also an opportunity to remind people that taking care of their mental health is just as important as taking care of their physical health.
The LPP Foundation cares about mental health
The LPP Foundation has been involved in social activities for many years, with a particular focus on the mental health of children and young people.
Through cooperation with medical facilities, schools and expert institutions, we support the development of systemic solutions that have a real impact on improving the well-being of the youngest members of society.

Why do we do this?
Every year, the number of children and young people struggling with emotional difficulties and mental health crises is growing. At the same time, there is still a lack of adequately equipped counselling centres, trained staff and modern diagnostic tools.
The LPP Foundation responds to these challenges through specific actions that support health institutions and school environments. We focus on providing long-term support to the system, rather than just ad hoc assistance.

How do we operate?
As part of the foundation's activities promoting mental health among children and young people:
● we finance the purchase of psychometric tests and therapeutic materials,
● we support psychological counselling centres and psychiatric wards,
● we subsidise mental health prevention training for teachers,
● we work with medical staff to respond effectively to the real needs of patients.

To date, the LPP Foundation has supported, among others:
- The Dr Babiński Clinical Hospital in Krakow, – by donating funds for equipment for the Psychological Clinic for Children and Young People,
- The Prof. Bilikiewicz Provincial Psychiatric Hospital in Gdańsk – co-financed a series of informational meetings for people working with children and young people on mental health hygiene and financed the purchase of psychological tests,
- The Specialist Hospital in Kościerzyna – supports the anniversary celebrations of the Psychiatric Ward and the production of an educational film on community psychiatry in Kościerzyna,
- Polanki Children's Hospital – donating funds for the purchase of WISC-V tests for diagnosing children and adolescents.

The effects of the LPP Foundation's activities
Behind the activities of the LPP Foundation is a team of committed individuals who, in cooperation with partners, experts and medical institutions, carry out the mission of supporting children in their daily challenges. Together, we respond to real social problems – with empathy and responsibility.
